POETRY

by dint of pure love

starting a new life together on our own terms of love

six stanzas of love

yes, love in its purest
megavolt or demurest

by dint of pure love
our frailties adjourn
our courses upturn

from my amrita hair
you winnowed the bee
ah! the weddings of trees
on kniffiti-streets!

if time waited for us
then nothing would change
and so all would change
our collage would change
you/i: we’re change

we’ve glasses and God
our appliances work
our lungs greet the burst
of sky’s ‘djustable merch
and we’ll be old-spoken birch
as if we were — — iconic — — !first!
