POETRY

ditto?

the welcoming of requited thoughts of love

i thought of you
this day brand new…

in pendulous morn
the plumule-horns

half-blazed recluse
me — bumpied goose

i bathed and hear’d
your chatter mere

‘n adjoining thoughts
of noonday wrought

i lit the stove
your trace of clove

and scotch and suede
and oud and glade

trapezed all wheres
jazz in your hair

i ‘magined us
a lazin’ buss

a mute prelude
context bedewed

our anchored vaults
nucleic-sculpts

shellacked by rays’
recumbent gaze

chiffonian drapes
tailing our shapes

us — vis-à-vis
in seasoned zzzs

your filigree
and mine agree

i thought of you
this day brand new…

did you think of me?
