Intriguing lounging light in the animated house, with the

Long-legged family and the midnight mouse, and the

Lipsticked-air of their mom’s love ample, and the

Ube pie that the Potcake sampled, and the

Slide-swing dancing on hardwood sable, and the

Times-table drills ‘round coffee tables, and

Reality yanking at my youth of nine, that I was…

Attached to light in no house of mine, where

TV’s glare was the “bright” in my wild; and that

I — in their house — was no omitted child, and that…two

Vires of haunt I’d take to my future: the

Effulgent half……and the one with the sutures.
